ASPACE (Assisted Spatial Planning Addressing Climate Effects) is a free, web-based Spatial Prioritisation software co-created by natural and social scientists, economists, policy practitioners, regulators, marine sectors and others at the science-policy interface, to support the design and exploration of alternative spatial management scenarios that meet climate, nature, social and economic targets.
This Website is operated and hosted by Plymouth Marine Laboratory (PML), a registered UK charitable organisation. It is intended to not only provide 3rd parties access to ASPACE data and tools (Users) but also to allow the same to upload their own data for the same purpose.
For this reason, PML is responsible for ensuring that data is not uploaded to the ASPACE platform without the permission of the copyright holder (the legal owner) of any such data. This means that if data is uploaded by a User without the copyright owner’s permission, both the User and the platform could be held liable for IP infringement.
To avoid liability PML will always endeavour to act quickly take the appropriate action, such as removing the infringing material as soon as it is notified of its presence.
If you believe any content you upload may contain any copyrighted material then you should seek authorisation from the right-holders in respect of content and remove any content for which authorisation is refused or for which you do not get a response. Please note that complying with the above is part of ASPACE’s terms and conditions found below.
If you believe that any materials uploaded on to this website breach your copyright (or any other intellectual property right) please contact legal@pml.ac.uk and PML shall temporarily remove the material as soon as possible, investigate the alleged infringement and then advise what permanent action shall be taken.
